I have experience as a member of the uniformed services, having traveled all over the US, dealt with both far right and far left extremists, having been to a few different countries and death with far left, far right, and other forms of political extremism.
Tyranny, oppression, poverty, starvation, human rights violations, resource theft, propaganda, underrepresented population, negative impact on the environment, and other forms of general unfairness are part of the life we live. Everybody must choose what to do about it. The representation of the majority isn't necessarily the most correct in terms of fairness and sustainability, but likely reflects the opinions of those few who hold the most influence. I haven't lost my faith in humanity. Unfounded generalization about any nation or its people is wrong, and leads to such unfairness. Sheep is often applied to those who follow without question. What of those who challenge but still follow or lead, depending on their own strengths?
